Tucson, AZ (October 15, 2020) – An accident reported on Wednesday morning left one person injured in Pima County. Just before 7 a.m., on October 14, the Tucson Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Oak Tree Drive.

Preliminary investigations surrounding the crash indicate that a vehicle collision occurred on South Oak Tree Drive at the intersection with West Valencia Road. The crash caused significant disruptions in traffic as crews worked to clear the scene.

An EMS unit responded to the crash to treat injured victims at the scene. At least one person was transported from the accident site to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.

At this time, law enforcement agencies in Pima County are investigating the cause of the collision.
