Tucson, AZ (May 25, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Thursday evening claimed one teen’s life.

At around 10 p.m., on May 21, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South 7^th Avenue.

Reports show that a 16-year-old teen and a 13-year-old teen were riding an ATV near South 7^th Avenue and West Michigan Drive when they were struck by a Honda Accord.

The 16-year-old suffered critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the boy later passed away due to the extent of his injuries.

The 13-year-old was hospitalized with serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
