Pedestrian Accidents in Arizona

Although people are utilizing various methods of transportation, there is no method that is without risk. Even pedestrians are at an increased risk of suffering life-changing injuries in collisions. Each year, more than 1700 people are injured in pedestrian accidents across the state of Arizona. Although walking and riding bicycles are generally safe activities to engage in, there are numerous instances where victims become involved in accidents that are life-altering. Many injured pedestrians require hospitalization and suffer from broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and other traumatic injuries that have a debilitating impact on their lives.

Due to the fact that pedestrians and bicycle riders are exposed during collisions, they are more likely to sustain injuries that require long-term treatment. Although there are several treatment options available for victims, a large number of victims never fully recover. Many victims are left permanently disabled from their injuries and forced to endure lifelong pain and suffering.   When victims are injured in pedestrian accidents, as a result of another person’s reckless actions, they should reach out to a pedestrian accident attorney in Arizona as soon as possible.
