Tucson, AZ (May 14, 2020) – An auto collision in midtown resulted in serious injuries.

At around 10 a.m., on May 13, the Tucson Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 6^th Street.

Reports from police show that a motorcycle and an SUV collided along 6^th Street at the intersection with Tucson Boulevard, which is between Tucson Boulevard and Campbell Avenue.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as 33-year-old Kyle Gabbard, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that he later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
