Tucson, AZ (October 25, 2020) – One person lost their life after a pedestrian accident in the Tucson area. At approximately 10 p.m., on October 23, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office responded to the site of a vehicle collision on San Joaquin Road.

Reports show that 33-year-old Christopher Dering was traveling on a Razer scooter near the southbound lane of San Joaquin Road toward Ajo Highway when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

Dering was struck a second time but a northbound vehicle, sustaining severe injuries. Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the incident and pronounced the man deceased. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.
