Tucson, AZ (October 21, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized following a motor vehicle accident in the Tucson area early Wednesday morning. At around 12:20 a.m., on October 21, the Tucson Police Department and paramedics were called to the scene of an accident on East 29th Street.

Reports show that a bicyclist was traveling on East 29th Street when they were struck by a vehicle near the intersection with South Columbus Boulevard. The bicyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Medical personnel rendered aid to the victim at the scene before transporting them to an area hospital for further medical treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the police in Tucson.
