Pedestrian Accidents in Arizona
Although people are utilizing various methods of transportation, there is no method that is without risk. Even pedestrians are at an increased risk of suffering life-changing injuries in collisions. Each year, more than 1700 people are injured in pedestrian accidents across the state of Arizona. The number of pedestrian accidents continues to increase each year, leaving numerous victims with life-altering injuries that require extensive medical treatment. Many injured pedestrians require hospitalization and suffer from broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and other traumatic injuries that have a debilitating impact on their lives.
Although we can take action to ensure the safety of those around us, we cannot prevent others who are sharing the road from engaging in reckless and negligent behaviors. Due to the fact that pedestrians are exposed during collisions, they are more likely to sustain injuries that require long-term treatment. Although there are several treatment options available for victims, a large number of victims never truly recover. Many victims are left permanently disabled from their injuries and forced to endure lifelong pain and suffering. When victims are injured in pedestrian accidents, as a result of another person’s reckless actions, they should reach out to a pedestrian accident attorney in Arizona as soon as possible.
