Tucson, AZ (August 18, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday morning left one person injured in Pima County. Just after 11:30 a.m., on August 17, the Tucson Police Department and Fire Department responded to the site of a collision on East Golf Links Road.

Reports provided by authorities show that a pedestrian was walking in the 6500 block of East Golf Links Road when they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was injured in the accident. Medical personnel rushed the injured pedestrian to a local hospital for treatment of injuries immediately following the crash. Police remained at the site of the crash to conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash. Investigations are currently ongoing.
