Tucson, AZ (September 24, 2020) – An accident in the Tuesday area claimed one person’s life and left a second victim serious injuries on Tuesday. Just before 10 a.m., on September 22, the Tucson Fire Department responded to the scene of an incident on West Commerce Court.

Reports show that a wall collapsed on a building in the 1600 block of West Commerce Court. Two people were on the premises at the time of the collapse.

One person was fatally injured as a result of the incident. The victim was declared deceased at the scene.

A second victim sustained critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Details surrounding the identifications of both victims are limited at this time.

The police in Tucson are currently investigating to determine what lead to the collapse taking place.
