Tucson, AZ (July 11, 2020) – A pedestrian accident on Friday afternoon sent one person to a local hospital with serious injuries. Just before 1:30 p.m., on July 10, the Tucson Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on East Golf Links Road.

Reports show that a vehicle was traveling through the intersection of East Golf Links Road and South Harrison Road. The vehicle went off the road and crashed into a Chase bank, striking a pedestrian in the pathway. The pedestrian became trapped by the vehicle. Crews responded to the scene and rendered medical treatment to the pedestrian. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. At this time, police are investigating.
