Tucson, AZ (August 15, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Friday claimed one man’s life in the Tucson area. At approximately 1 p.m., on August 12, the Tucson Police Department was called to the site of a collision on West Grant Road.

According to reports, 35-year-old David Doyle was driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 east on Grant Road when his vehicle was struck by a 2006 Hyundai Sonata at the intersection with 15^th Avenue. The impact of the crash caused Doyle’s vehicle to crash into a large power pole on the side of the road.

Doyle, who was the only person inside his vehicle at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Two passengers and the driver of the Hyundai were all transported to Banner University Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
