Tucson, AZ (July 5, 2020) – A late-night collision on Saturday resulted in injuries for at least one victim in the Tucson area. At approximately 11 p.m., on July 4, the Tucson Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West Tucson-Ajo Highway.

Reports show that a collision occurred on the highway at the intersection with South Kinney Road. The impact of the collision caused a Jeep involved in the collision to go off the road and strike a pole at the intersection. EMS responded to the site of the collision to render aid to victims injured in the accident. At least one person was loaded into the ambulance and transported to an area hospital for further treatment. The Tucson Police Department is currently investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
