Tucson, AZ (July 19, 2020) – A collision reported early Saturday morning resulted in injuries. At approximately 4 a.m., on July 18, the Tucson Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a crash on East Lincoln Street.

According to reports provided by officers from the Tucson Police Department, an auto collision occurred on East Lincoln Street near the intersection with South 3^rd Avenue for unknown reasons. The collision resulted in sprawling delays throughout the area. Police had to redirect traffic away from the intersection as the worked to clear the accident and restore the flow of traffic. Emergency personnel responded to the site of the crash to render aid to at least one person involved in this crash. An unknown number of victims were transported off the site of the crash to area hospitals for treatment. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
