Flowing Wells, AZ (September 29, 2020) – A motorcycle accident reported in the Tucson area claimed one person’s life and left two others injured. On September 26, the Tucson Police Department, firefighters, and EMS responded to the scene of an automobile accident on West Wetmore Road.

Reports from authorities show that 23-year-old Jonathan Martinez was riding a motorcycle with a 19-year-old passenger and was traveling through the intersection of West Wetmore Road and Flowing Wells Road when they collided with a second vehicle.

Martinez was fatally injured in the accident and immediately declared deceased at the scene. His 19-year-old passenger and the driver of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old female, were both transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.

At this time, the police are investigating the accident.
