Leighton Rockafellow began his law practice in Tucson in 1973. A native of Geneva, Illinois, Leighton graduated from Geneva Community High School in 1966 and attended Southern Illinois University for his freshman and sophomore years. Transferring to the University of Arizona in 1968, Leighton completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 1970 and graduated from the Arizona College of Law in May 1973. Leighton was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona on September 29, 1973, the United States District Court on October 15, 1973, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on June 30, 1975, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America on March 26, 1979. Leighton has held the certification "Specialist in Injury & Wrongful Death" from the State Bar of Arizona since 1991. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (1991), and named among the Super Lawyers of the Southwest for 2007.

Carl brings the unique talent of being a nurse and a paralegal to the Rockafellow Law Firm. Carl’s medical experience is invaluable. Gathering, reading, interpreting, and understanding medical records is a large part of every case. Carl works closely with Leighton Rockafellow in framing all issues in every medical negligence case and in preparing all discovery documents and disclosure statements that are the foundation of every case.
Carl is a University of Arizona football and basketball fanatic and cheers on the Green Bay Packers every Sunday. A native of Wisconsin, Carl and his wife Jill enjoy the sunshine here in Arizona and at their favorite getaway beach in Bahia Kino, Mexico.

Jenny serves as a paralegal, secretary, and document preservationist. Rockafellow Law Firm adopted a scanning policy years ago whereby every document coming in to the firm is scanned to the client's file. This time consuming and important task was given to Jenny and with her excellent assistance, every client file can be accessed from any computer in the firm and by Mr. Rockafellow from his laptop when out of town on deposition trips or on vacations.
Jenny is a graduate of the Pima College Paralegal Program and came to work for the Rockafellow Law Firm right after graduation. Jenny's husband, Scott is a golf pro at a local country clubs. She and Scott are the proud parents of Ryan and Tiffany.

Millie is the "pinch hitter" in the firm, filling in as needed when other staff members are on vacation or out for personal reasons. Millie is a Rincon High School graduate and a graduate of the University of Arizona. Millie is a lifetime resident of Tucson, Arizona and is involved in many philanthropic activities throughout the city. Millie was named a "Remarkable Mom" in 2005 by Tu Nidito, a children's help charity.

Arlene has worked continuously at the Rockafellow Law Firm since September 1986. From then until January 2007, Arlene functioned as the firm receptionist and bookkeeper. Millions of dollars flow through the firm accounts annually and Arlene keeps track of every penny. Arlene files numerous governmental tax reports timely and accurately. She developed and maintains the accounting system that has served the firm well..
In January of 2007 Arlene went into semi-retirement. Cheryl Burns was hired as the full-time receptionist, and Arlene has agreed to stay on as bookkeeper. Arlene still fills in as receptionist as needed.
Arlene is a graduate of Amphitheater High School and attended the University of Arizona.

Cheryl is the “Director of First Impressions” at the Rockafellow Law Firm. Serving as the administrative assistant and receptionist, Cheryl is the voice that greets you and directs you to the right place. Automated phone systems have no place in a law office.
Cheryl schedules and calendars all deadlines, distributes the mail, and makes sure every caller is treated with patience, courtesy and respect.
Prior to joining the Rockafellow Law Firm, Cheryl ran her own business for 26 years gathering police reports for insurance companies and lawyers in Southern Arizona. Having worked closely with the Rockafellow Law Firm during that time, Cheryl was a natural choice when Arlene Oliver made the decision to take semi-retirement. Cheryl also works part-time as a receptionist at Weight Watchers of Arizona.
